Facilities  


  Comprehensive facilities such as the library and the cafeteria

In the classroom, personal computers and slide projectors are often used, and in the LL classrooms, various audio-visual materials are used, and all have received much positive feedback. In addition, students are free to use the library and dining hall, as well as BIL’s comprehensive educational facilities such as the foreign student center. Furthermore, off-campus facilities such as the Bunka Hokuryuko Lodge and the Bunka Karuizawa Lodge are used for international goodwill camps.

   The Library
The Bunka Gakuen library contains more than 220 thousand volumes, and nearly 2,500 journals and serial publications. Approximately half of this collection is located on an open-shelf, and free for use. Within this large collection, there are substantial collections pertaining to fashion, architecture, design, art, and social science. In the library, there are also a lot of materials in foreign languages, and a large collection of valuable literature.

   The Gakuen Shop
Carries reasonably priced books, school supplies, and other useful items for students and faculty.

   The Language Lab (LL)
Has installed the latest facilities available for practical language studies.

   The Computer Room

   International Communication Center
Is a place for student’s exchange or a place of information exchange.

   The Cafeteria
Students can enjoy their daily meals at The Cafeteria, which offers a varied menu at reasonable price.
