The interchange of culture and economic between Japan and other countries each year. The demands of interpreter and translator are increasing.
Prepare for employment in corporations based in Japan or the home country, by mastering specialized interpretation/translation techniques, and achieving high proficiency in Japanese language communication skills.

■ Special Features of the Program

1.	Basic training for interpreter, like quick response and shadowing.

2.	Improvement of communication skill within the group work situation.

3.	Study by observation of actual interpretation and leaning by experience of volunteer interpretation.

4.	Choice of electives in the Japanese language subjects.

Japanese-Chinese Interpreter/Translator Training Course	： 30 students
Japanese-Korean Interpreter/Translator Training Course	： 30 students
English Interpreter/Translator Training Course	： 60 students

Qualifications

A person whom has completed more than 12 years of schooling education in Japan and/ or abroad, with person who fills either the following.

1.	The applicant has received Japanese language education for a minimum of 6 months at a Japanese language institute accredited by the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education.
2.	The applicant has passed level 2 or above of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, administered by Japan Educational Exchanges and Services and Japan Foundation.
3.	The applicant has received a score of 200 or above in the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students, administered by Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
4.	Person admitted to have Japanese ability equal with the above-mentioned.
